Abstract:In this paper,the mode of resonator with Gaussian and super Gaussian random phase modulation is analyzed and calculated numerically by the modal theory of coherence in spatial frequency domain.The results show that,under phase modulation on one of the resonator mirror,a partial coherent super Gaussian alike beam can be obtained by controlling the resonator phase parameter.In addition,a new parameter called degree of flatness is introduced to describe the characteristics of the laser beam.
