Abstract:The visual analytical method of spacial temperature field has been presented for the heat response in laser machining.According to the theory of color mappling,data point colors are established corresponding to temperature field in space.At the same time,the effects of power density and motion speed of laser beam on temperature field distribution and hardening strip are analyzed visually.The configuration of temperature field distrbution can be displayed directly and visually with this method,which can be used to predict the depth and width of transformation hardening,as well as to offer theoretical basis to optimize parameters in studying interaction between laser beam and material.
