Abstract:In this paper,a new scheme of power management in WDM all optical network is proposed.In the total power equalization principle,we first consider both intraband crosstalk and ASE noise and give the analytical expressions.Through simulation calculation,the intraband crosstalk is found to be an important limitation to signal quality and network scale.For the WDM optical network that use mechanical switch,the impact of crosstalk depends mainly on the suppression value of DMUX.For low level crosstalk network,one can also improve the signal quality by increasing G out and P set .
