Abstract:The stationary properties of a single mode laser with correlations between additive and multiplicative white noise terms are investigated.The mean,variance,and skewness of the steady state laser intensity are calculated through a Langevin equation(LE) derived by Long which is always stochastically equivalent to the single mode cubic laser model when additive and multiplicative noises are correlated.Compared with the result obtained by Zhu,the consideration of modification item in LE when addivtive and multiplicative noises are correlated is important for describing statistical properties of the laser system.
