Histogram equalization(HE) and adaptive histogram equalization(AHE) methods are introduced.On the base of them,weighted adaptive histogram equalization(WAHE) method based on power function is presented,and the generating mode of weight matrix and the algorithmic method of histogram distribution for the sliding window is given.Finally,the processing result of a digital X-ray image is given,and its effect is relatively satisfactory.
