Abstract:We proposed and designed a novel electron optics configuration for the streak image tube aiming at relative large dynamic range.The tube features in its smaller focusing area and less electron transit time inside which can restrain the space charge effects effectively.Therefore it is hopeful to enlarge the dynamic range The temporal and spatial characteristic,such as spread functions,are given by numerical method.By simulating the transit inside the system the result of the dynamic range of 200 round is obtained for pulse of 0.5 ps in FWHM.
