For the purpose of communication between host controlling computers theodolite and center computers under Windows NT,this paper designs synchronous communication adapter with two channels based on Intel 8274 and HDLC protocol.The paper also develops the driver for the board using NT DDK,and completes the high speed sending and receiving of data.Now the adapter has been applied to the new generation theodolite.
