Planar optical waveguides provide various important and functional devices for optical wavelength division multiplexing(WDM).Silicon based silica waveguide devices have advantages in fiber communication system.Therefore,it is important to bafricate well performance and high reliability SiO 2 on Si substrate.In this paper,we review some technologies in the fabrication of silica waveguide.
