A new concept was presented for describing partially coherent and partially polarized light pulse in the time domain,and the partially coherence-polarization matrix(PCPM) was defined for describing corresponding concept.The measuring method of the matrix elements and degree of polarization were analyzed,and the degree of polarization was defined in terms of the matrix determination and trace.The transmission of partially polarized and partially coherent light pulse was discussed.It is shown that in the process of the transmission of light pulse,the matrix elements are independent and satisfy the partially coherent light pulse propagation law.
