Passively Q-switched mode-locking in a laser diode(LD) pumped Nd:Gd_(0.42)Y_(0.58)VO_4/Cr~(4+):YAG/KTP green laser is reported.A very simple,compact plane-concave cavity is used.At 7.8 W incident pump power,Q-switching mode-locking pulse with modulation depth about 40% is available,and the Qswitching envelope with repetition rate of 200 kHz and the pulse duration of 100 ns are obtained,and the average output power is 200 mW.
