Abstract:The computer-generated circular-viewing plane rainbow hologram was proposed,based on the optical circular-viewing plane rainbow hologram.With the approximation in Fresnel diffraction theory,the distribution of the object wave in the elementary circular-viewing hologram is deduced on theory.To an object,the distribution of the object wave on the recording plane is the sum of all the distributions of the elementary circular-viewing hologram.With this idea,the distribution of the fringes resulted from the interference between the object wave and the reference wave was computed.According to the theory of optical circular-viewing hologram,the circular-viewing plane hologram was getten.Overcoming the complexity of the optical designs,this approach facilitates the achievement of the circular-viewing rainbow hologram.The experimental result is also shown in this paper.
