Abstract:Al~(3+) is doped into BaFBr:Eu~(2+) and substitutes part of Ba~(2+).Effect of the doping Al~(3+) on exciting energy of the color center F(Br~-) was researched experimentlly.The correlation between the quantity of doping Al~(3+) and the intensity of the photostimulated luminescence was investigated by using the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra.While the highest intensity of the photostimulated luminescence is obtained,the optimal proportion of Al~(3+) is 0.015%.The mechanism of formed color centers was also discussed.It is found that over Al~(3+) doping will result in an aggregation of cavity of capturing electron,a weak ability in capturing electrons and a lower intensity of photostimulated luminescence.
