    摘要:

    讨论丁一种改进的F-P腔结构高功率掺Yb^3+双包层光纤激光器。实验表明,此种结构的系统光-光转换效率与传统FP腔结构掺Yb^3+双包层光纤激光器相比没有明显Ⅸ别,而抗高功率热损伤有明显提高。获得了1.06μm、50W连续激光输出,无明显的热光问题、双色镜表面损伤和斜率效率下降等,斜率效率为80.2%,整个系统的光光转化效率为31.9%。

    Abstract:

    A high power Yb~ 3+ -doped double-cladding fiber laser with improved F-P laser cavity is studied in experiments.There is no obvious difference in optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of the whole system using this laser cavity in experiment,but there are obvious improvements in the ability of high power laser damage resistance.CW output power of 50 W with the wavelength at 1.06 mm is obtained without any thermo-optical problems,dichroic mirror surface damage or drop of the slope efficiency.The slope efficiency and the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of laser output are 80.2% with respect to absorbed pump power and 31.9% with respect to total pump power respectively.
