Abstract:A new phase quantization method of a phase hologram based on conventional random-phase encoding technique is proposed. The value consisted of multi-phase information of the phase hologram is mapped into a binary matrix by decimal-binary conversion. The binary matrix is encoded and printed as the 2-D anti-counterfeit label. As a result, the technique not only realizes the automatic input of text information, but also enhances the peak signal-tonoise ratio(PSNR) of the decoded image.Computer simulations and optical scanning experiments show that the presented technique has advantages of the simple authentication process, high PSNR,inexpensive cost and good security.
