A new method for preparing surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)-active Ag substrate is reported.The SERS-active Ag film is prepared by a combination of the electrochemical method and the liquid phase reaction technique.The surface morphology and structure are analyzed by the scanning electron microscopy.The measurements of the SERS spectra of crystal violet on the substrates indicate that the SERS signal intensity is enhanced first and then weakened as the electro-deposition reaction time increases.By im...
