A novel organic nonlinear optical chromophore containing furan conjugating bridge has been synthesized and characterized by FT-IR,1H-NMR and elemental analysis.The decomposition temperature as high as 272 ℃ is determined by TGA testing.The hyperpolarizability(μβ) value as large as 24 898e-48 esu at 1 064nm is measured by solvatochromism method.The chromophore is doped into PSU and polymer thin film is fabricated by spin-casting method.The film is corona poled to induce a non-centrosymmetric orga...
