In order to study the blind UV LEDbased communication performance,this paper introduces the structural design of the UV communication system.The performance of the UV LED driven by DC is analyzed.The schematic circuit diagram of transmitter and receiver is designed to realize the data transmission.This blind UV LED-based communication using the OOK modulation is experimentally tested under different conditions.Under different communication rates,the communication range and bit error rate(BER) of the system are analyzed.The results show that the communication performance of the system is better when the environment noise is low.When the communication distance is unchanged,the smaller communication rate will lead to the lower BER of the communication system.The relay UV communication can effectively expand the communication distance.
