Due to the difficulty of orthogonal correction and the increasing measurement error with noise in Doppler signals for homodyne laser vibrometer system,a novel noisy Doppler signal processing algorithm is proposed and realized.Firstly, two noisy Doppler signals were denoised by a smoothing filter.Secondly, the denoised Doppler signals were corrected by the least-squares method and became orthogonal signals through the unit circle correction. Finally, the vibration signal was obtained from quadrature signals by differential-division-integral operation. The results of experiment show that the vibration signal can be demodulated from noisy Doppler signals effectively with this signal processing method, and the measurement error of frequency is less than 3% when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) reaches 10 dB.Accordingly, the requirement of measurement environment in the novel homodyne laser vibrometer system is reduced.
