The mechanism of stroboscopic jitter is illustrated comprehensively,based on the range-gated moving target detection.Influencing factors and functionrelationship of the stroboscopic jitter are analyzed quantitatively.In addition,the imaging conditions which produce stroboscopic jitter obviously and the occasions in which the jitter eliminating should be taken are both indicated.At last,a hardware jitter eliminating circuit which synchronizes pulse laser,gated intensifier and CCD is designed.The circuit was based on FPGA and can generate three timing signals which are the trigger signals of pulse laser,gated intensifier and CCD,respectively.Simulation and experiment both prove that the circuit is correct and the timing control is reasonable.Timing of pulse laser,gated intensifier and CCD synchronizes well,and the stroboscopic jitter is eliminated.
