We propose a high-speed real-time optical phase sampling system based on delay self interference of optical signal.delay interferometer with a time delay of 10 ps is used to convert the phase information into amplitude information. Then, optical sampling of the amplitude signal is achieved by optical parametric amplification in high nonlinear fiber(HNLF).By employing optical band-pass filters(OBPFs) or wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) before the receivers, simultaneous high speed optical sampling and optical serial-to-parallel conversion are achieved. The system is low cost and insensitivie to the bit-rate as well as wavelength. We demonstrate the feasibility of the scheme by optical sampling of a 10 Gbit/s phase modulated signal at the sampling rate of 100 G/s and then ten 10 G/s sampling outputs are achieved. And the 10 Gbit/s phase signal is reconstructed successfully.
