提出了一种量子密钥分发(QKD,quantum key distribution)系统中高速数据通道的设计方案—基于通用串行总线(USB,universal serial bus)的数据通道。通过对QKD系统中经典信道数据带宽的分析,设计了USB数据通道方案,并通过USB的速度的测试给出合适的USB参数。实验表明,此数据通道可以适应光子发射频率为20 MHz的QKD系统,且在带宽方面有很大的余量,可以适应后续QKD系统速度提升的需求。
Abstract:
A universal serial bus(USB) based design of high speed data channel for quantum key distribution(QKD) system is introduced in this paper.Through analyzing the data transfer requirement in classic channel of QKD,we propose this USB-based scheme.By means of testing the actual speed of USB data channel,the proper USB-relevant parameters are obtained.The experiment results show that the proposed USB design is suitable for QKD system with 20 MHz photon transmitting frequency,and there is still enough bandwidth of the USB module,so it is convenient to use this module in other QKD systems which require higher-speed transmission.
