Abstract:Yellow phosphors for white light-emitting diodes (W-LEDs),Li2Sr(1-x)SiO4:xEu2+,were synthesized by solid-state reaction. The influence on photoluminescence proper ties which results from the test temperature and annealing temperature,is investig ated in details. The results indicate that for all samples with different doping conce ntrations, the photoluminescence performance at different test temperatures (from room temperature to 300℃) is improved through thermal treatment, that is,the process of therma l treatment reduces lattice damage resulting from grinding. The emission intensity is generally decreased with test temperature rising, but when emission wavelength is in the range of 500-550nm,the conclusion is reversed, which is related to the crystal structure of Li2SrSiO4and the doped rare earth element.
