Abstract:In order to deeply study the method of the optoelectronic oscillator (O EO) for single mode oscillation and improving the frequency stability,an electric injection locked OEO model is presented in this paper,the injection locked theory is studied,then the superior ity of improving the frequency stability and the side mode suppression rate (SMSR),furthermore the practicability of the hard experiment based on the injection locked theory are a nalyzed.Moreover,an electric injection-locked optoelectronic oscillator experimental system is designed.The experimental results show that under the condition of the filter bandwidth of 60MHz,the single loop and the single mode oscillation are realized by the injection locked scheme, and SMSR is more than 50dB,then the phase noise is obta ined by -100dBc/Hz at 10kHz (the phase noise of the injection source signal is -86dBc/Hz at 10kHz),and the carrier frequency is 10GHz.Finally the injection source signal is considered as reference source,the phase discrim ination is made between the locked signal and the injection source signal,and the result is acquired by the Allen variance.Finally,the short-term stability loss is at magnitude of ord er of 10-13,and long-term stability loss is at magnitude of order of × 10-16.
