    摘要:

    在采用直接解复用的偏分复用(PDM)系统中,反馈 信号是决定系统解复用性能的关键因素,因此反馈信号的选取与正确建模 至关重要。本文详细分析了两偏振态信号光相干性对基于光功率差和射频(RF)功率两种直接 解复 用反馈信号的影响,完善了相关的 理论模型,建立了100Gbit/s的PDM- DQPSK传输 系统仿真平台,对两种 反馈信号的解复用效果进行了验证。结果表明,无论两 偏振态信号光的相干性如何,基于光功率差的反馈信号都适用,而RF功率反馈信号只适用 于信号光相干度较大的情况;在两 种反馈信号均可以使用的情况下,它们的解复用效果基本相同,引入的光功率代价均约为0.1dB。

    Abstract:

    In the automatic optical demultiplexing system,the feedback signal is the key factor to determine the demultiplexing effect.So the selection and correct modeling of feedback signal is very importa nt.In this paper,we analyze the influence of coherence of the two optical carriers in different states of polarization (SOP) on the two common used feedback signals (optical power difference and radio frequency signal power) with automatic optical polari zation demultiplexing scheme in polarization division multiplexed (PDM) system and derive the mathematical models of two type s of feedback signals in detail and complete the analysis of related model.Then we establish a simulation platform of 100Gbi t/ s PDM-DQPSK transmission system using Matlab and verify the effect of the demul tiplexing scheme using the two types of feedback signals.The four feedback signa l maps show that the mathematical models of the two types of feedback signals are co rrect,and no matter the two optical carriers are coherent or not,the automatic demultiplexing scheme using optical power dif ference as feedback signal is effective. However.the automatic demultiplexing scheme using radio frequency signal power as feedback signal can be used only when the two optical carriers are nearly coherent.The eye diagram and the BER curves show that when the two types of feedback signals are effective,their effects on polarization demultiplexing are nearly th e same,and the optical power penalty of the system using the two schemes is near ly 0.1dB.
