In order to alleviate patients pain for the long time using transmissi on type non-invasive pulse and blood oxygen saturation monitor,a pulse and blood oxygen saturation monitoring m ethod is proposed by using the reflection type photoelectric sensor.Using LabVIEW software with strong functio n of data processing,combined with the NI USB-6353DAQ the data acquisition system can be built rapidly.Monit oring test of pulse rate and oxygen saturation in 10patients,and compared with the data of monitor and prototype, the oxygen saturation measured average error is 0.2%,and the average error of measurement of pulse rate is 0.8time/min.The results show that the design and clinical use of the blood oxygen saturation monitor have good consist ency,so this method can measure the pulse rate and blood oxygen saturation,can be a supplement to the existing phys iological parameter monitoring method.
