Abstract:This paper reports a quick preparing super-hydrophilic strontium ti tanate surface method by picosecond laser processing.At room temperature,by picosecond laser processing systems,the single crystal of strontium titanate surface was etched to be the s urface with neatly arranged periodic trench structure,and as a result,the invasive of the surface t urns to be more hydrophilic.The effect of groove spacing on the size of the sur face cont act angle is studied.Results show that the size of the contact angle changes with groove spa cing,namely,the groove spacing is greater,the contact angle is larger.When the groove spacing is less than 150μm,the surface becomes super hydrophilic surfaces.Its mechanis m is that accord ing to the Wenzel model,increasing the surface roughness can make the invasive of the surf ace be more hydrophilic.The groove structure produced siphon phenomenon also enhances the hydrophilicity.
