Abstract:At present,due to the limitations of the pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensor in static human detection,a method is proposed for dynamic PIR,sensor using a combination of static and dynamic detect ion,location and direction finding of target.In the study,the static PIR sensor on sensing node is used to measure the distance of personnel targets,but the dynamic PIR sensor with the speed of 10°/s is used to monitor the region by reciprocating scanning ,which changes from “passive” to “active”. When the detection line meets personnel targets,measurement values of angle wil l be acquired through the frame difference method,then multiple sensor values of cross location are fused,and fi nally the whole process of the target event of effective data are collected in the detecting area.Experimental results show that different state personnel targets are well detected and located with this proposed method.
