As a new retinal detection technology, this paper researches the signal extraction method and processing methods of intrinsic optical signal (IOSs) in macular area stimulated by visible light.By using the modified retina choroid synchronous ang iography,we get the infrared imagery of retina before and after stimulation under visible light.Aft er changing the gray scale of images, we can get the IOSs curve of the macular area during stimulation by the visible light,and analyze the changes of IOSs in the cross section and the center of macular area.The result shows that the retina has responses different toward different colors,and is more sensitive toward green light;the IOSs changes for the center of macular area and other area are evidently different; for the center of macular area,the IOSs changes about 5%-25% stimulated by the visible light.The result of this study has significant positive effect on the analysis and research of IOSs and macular area.Meanwhile,it provides a the oretical basis for the experimental investigation of some related ocular diseases.
