    摘要:

    研究了基于脉冲编码调制的布 里渊光时域分析 (BOTDA)系统工作原理,首先向传感光纤内输入经过脉冲编码调制之后的光脉冲序列,然后 在接收端用数据 处理程序恢复出系统的单脉冲响应,从而提高BOTDA系统的信噪比、温度和应变分辨率。为 了提高BOTDA 系统的信噪比,提出了一种将CCPONS编码与Walsh编码结合的新型编码,分析了其应用于BOT DA系统的 编解码原理,推导了分别引入CCPONS编码、Walsh编码和组合编码的BOTDA系统信噪比增益, 并分析验 证了三种编码对系统信噪比的改善情况,结果证明组合编码对系统信噪比提升效果最好。

    Abstract:

    With the rapid development of optical fiber technology and optical communication technology,distributed optical fiber sensor as the fusion of the two derivative types sensing technology has graduall y stepped into all aspects of the national economy as well as people′s livelihood .The principles of Brillouin optical time domain analysis (BOTDA) system based on pulse coding are analyzed. The system launches optical pulse sequence produced by encoded pulse modulation to the sensing fiber ,and retrieves the single-pulse response with a data processing program at the receiving end of th e system,thereby enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the temp erature or strain resolution of BOTDA system.In order to improve the SNR of BOTDA system,the paper proposes a new coding method combini ng CCPONS code with Walsh code.The coding and decoding principles applying to the B OTDA system are analyzed.The signal-to-noise improvement ratio (SNIR) of the BOTDA system is derived after inducing CCPONS code,Walsh code and combined code,and the improvement of the SNR of the three codes is analyzed.The results show that the improvement of the SNR of the BOTDA system after inducing the combined code is the best.
