Abstract:In this paper,a band elimination frequency selective surface (FSS) with the resp onse band of visible and shorter wavelengths is designed for detecting methamphetamine in serum.Firstly,a double-layer square ring element is desig ned on the basis of previous research work,and it realized the response band of 600-1000THz.Furthermore,we analyze the influence by transmission coefficient parameters of FSS,such as th e size of square ring, dielectric thickness and permittivity of dielectric layer.On this basis,in co nsideration of the influence of various parameters,the simulation software HFSS is used to solve the simulatio n.Results show that the outside lengths is 120nm,the inside lengths is 100nm,the period of ele ment is 140nm,the media thickness is 60nm,the metal patch is silver with a thickness of 10nm, and the dielectric material is Neltec NY9208with permittivity of 2.08.In this case,the eliminat ion band of FSS is 500-1000THz,the transmittivity is below 5%,the pass band of FSS is 500-1000THz,and the transmittivity is above 90%.The FSS can be used to eliminate the fluo rescence of serum in the detection of methamphetamine in serum.
