    摘要:

    散射参数(S参数)可精确表征光电探测器的传输特 性,本文针对现有测试方法及系统中存在的问题,分析了光波元件分析仪的原理和光电探测 器测试误差来源,提出了一种光电探测器的传输特性测试方法,构建了光电探测器的测试误 差模型和信号流图,推导了光电探测器的散射参数(S参数)求解公式。基于光电探测器的 器件特性,对其测试过程进行优化,将测试过程分为微波域校准与光波域测试两步进行。对 10 MHz~40 GHz范围内对光电探测器的S参数 进行了测试,实验结果表明,该方法测量结果与经过计量的是德科技N4373D的测量结果数据 一致性较好,在高频范围内,测量偏差小于0.5 dB,是一种有效的光 电探测器传输特性参数测量方法。

    Abstract:

    Transmission characteristics is an imp ortant index to measure the photo-detectors.The scattering parameter (S-parame ter) can be used to precisely describe the transmission characteristics of photo -detectors.In this paper,aiming at the problems of the existing test methods and systems,the microwave network analysis technology is extended to the optical wave network.Based on the principle of light wave component analy zer and the test error of photo-detectors,a new transmission characteristics te st method of photo-detectors is proposed.Also the test error model and data flo w diagram of th e photo-detectors are constructed and the S-parameter formula of the photo-de tector is derived.Based on the characteristics of photodetector,the test process is optimized and diveded into two steps;microwace domain calibratio n and optical domain test.A SOLT (short-open-load-transmission) method based on 12-term error is used in the microwave domain calibration and then the photo -detector is measured in the optical domain.The S parameter of the photo-detec tor is measured in the range from 10MHz to 40GHz.Experimental results demonstr ate that the measured data of the proposed method agreed very well with those giv en by N4373D,especially in the high frequency range,the maxinum deviation range is less than 0.5dB,which is an effective method for measuring S-parameters of photo-detectors.
