Abstract:To solve the problem because of the giant magnetostrictive material (G MM) magnetostrictive coefficient is sensitive to temperature and affect the accu racy of GMM-FBG optical fiber current sensor response problem,to study the tem p erature compensation method,constructed the GMM magnetic field and temperature field coupling model,the temperature sensing experiment,the current on and off ,and the different magnetic field direction on the current response of the expe riment,design the cross sensing probe,using GMM magnetic field is not sensitiv e to the direction of the vertical magnetic field current sensor temperature com pensation,and improve the accuracy of the GMM-FBG optical fiber current sensor response.The results show that the center wavelength in direction perpendicular to the magnetic field sensor value variation of plus or minus 0.05PM,but igno re the influence of magnetic field,after removing the fitting curve and on-off experiment fitting curve is the sum of squared residuals is 0.0112,almost compl etely overlap,can eliminate the influence of temperature on the GMM-FBG curren t sensor,make current measurement more accurate,and realize the electric curren t and temperature measurements at the same time,can meet the application requir ements of modern electric power system.
